All of our mountain coati (also known as ring-tailed coatimundi) babies are hand-raised and extremely tame. Your coati baby will come with a care package, travel carrier, and breeder support for the lifetime of the animal. The care package includes premium canned food, primate biscuits, Fox Valley milk replacer, bottle & nipple, and a Dragonstone Exotics backpack to carry all the supplies. For an additional fee of $50, coati babies can receive a physical exam and health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian before leaving our care. A health certificate is required for interstate travel.

Once weaned, we feed our coatis a variety of the following: high-quality dog food, monkey biscuits, fruits, and a variety of proteins, such as cooked meats, eggs, and, optionally, raw meat and whole prey.

We ask that you do your research before making the decision to bring home a coati. While coatis can make an amazing pet for many people, they are still exotic animals and may not be the best pet for all.

Adoption process

Adoption applications are password-protected. To adopt any of our babies, please contact us first to confirm availability and request the application password. Then click on the button below to start the process. A $300 nonrefundable deposit and an approved adoption application are required to reserve a coati baby.

SPAYING & NEUTERING: Having your male coati neutered/spayed when they are old enough (around 6 months) will help them live a longer, healthier life, as it will protect them from certain cancers and diseases. Sterilizing your baby will also reduce aggression.
